In 2019, I created a personal film called “The Deepest Cut,” which focused on my brother’s life with Multiple Sclerosis, told from his perspective and those of his mother, father, and son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four years later, I completed another side of living with Multiple Sclerosis, but this time from the perspective of my mother. This look at the disease does not spare the viewer of its ruthlessness. The narration is honest and matter-of-fact, if not a bit stoic. But through this, we glimpse the underlying core of a drained and fragile spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Director Biography –\u00a0Alexandra Guillossou<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Alexandra Guillossou has been telling stories for over 30 years. Her creative background comes from over 20 years as an exhibit\/graphic designer and 10 years as a professional dancer. Music and movement have always been an integral part of her life. So in 2017, she combined those assets with her experience in visual design and began creating promotional videos for Entertainment Destination clients. She has produced Behind the Scenes teasers for America’s Reality Entertainment, featuring the artist Brando, using nothing but a smartphone, and collaborates with Revol Studios and musician, Ryan Jurtgen. \u201cThe Deepest Cut\u201d was Alexandra’s first fully solo film project and won several awards in 2019. It was filmed, edited, and scored by Alexandra. Two other films, \u201cAfter the Flood\u201d and \u201cOut of Thin Air\u201d followed in 2020. Her fourth short film, “bee-roll” was awarded a Moment Film grant in 2021 and went on to win several international awards.
