Director Biography – Reham Emam
Reham Emam is a Master’s of Arts holder from Cairo. She works as an independent filmmaker & Photographer. Studied photography under supervision of many European & Egyptian photographers across Cairo & Germany. She worked on an independent Cultural show “SCOPE” that interviews and cast light on Cairo’s underground art scene and artists and broadcast its episodes on a Vimeo Channel. In 2016 published a psycho horror novella “Loser of Shadow game” on the online platform “Kotobna”. In 2017 covered the 38th Cairo International Film Festival on behalf of ACU University. In 2017 accomplished her fully independent and self-produced short film “Eternal Silence” that depict days of silence and loneliness during anticipating the Unknown, of which she wrote, directed, and played a role in. Made a number of photographic films including “Little Home” and “Borders” and writes her own film scripts. She is the winner of numerous literature awards and continues to produce short narratives with experimental focus.
