A group of nomadic pastoralists in Northwestern Kenya decide to settle in a barren patch of land at the edge of Lodwar Town.
Artsy Solomon is a self-taught visual storyteller specializing in documentary films and photography. Born and raised in the Northern Kenyan county of Turkana, his work is inspired by the diverse culture and traditions of the people in Turkana. His documentary short film ‘Staki Glue’ (2021) won first prize at the 2021 Smartphone Film Competition at Alliance Française de Nairobi.
