Synopsis
A robot vacuum cleaner does not evaluate rooms according to this importance. Navigability, geometry and obstacles determine its routes. Due to its peripheral and seemingly harmless perspective, it gains access to corners that escape the attention of the occupants. It means comfort. Connected to a cloud, however, this is only harmless to a limited extent, but creates an efficient and mapping logic of seeing that falls apart with human vision. The video explores the divergence of these two logics of seeing and (in)visibility in networked homes.
