This Docudrama series narrates different scams experienced by different victims, we will follow these victims as they took us through the journey and reliving the whole situation to the audience. We will see the victims and reenact the story as it happens exactly as much as possible.

Director Biography – Tosin Coker, Geshin Salvador, Seun Afolabi

Tosin Coker is a multiple award-winning filmmaker of both American and Nigerian heritage.

He has directed short films and Television Series including the award-winning film ‘Doorways’ starring Emmy Award Winner Diahnna Nicole Baxter which toured the film festival circuit in 2011 and 2012, including The Pan-African Film Festival, Texas Black Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival bagging several official selections and awards.

Tosin was also nominated in the best director and best picture drama categories at the Academy of Art University San Francisco’s Epidemic Film Festival.

Tosin’s other motion picture achievements include: ‘Motherless’ (2012 San Francisco Black Film Festival) and ‘Finding Neptune’ (SoCal Independent Film Festival, Langston Hughes Black Film Festival, Charlotte Black Film Festival, Gary International Black Film Festival and Capital City Black Film Festival).

He directed the first and second seasons of Ebony Life Television’s ‘On the Real’, a television series sponsored by Ciroc Africa, Access Bank (Accelerate TV) and Samsung Nigeria which is currently streaming on NETFLIX.

Tosin produced and directed the theatrical motion Picture “Lara and the Beat. The movie won the Programmers Best Feature Narrative award at the 27th Pan African film festival, Best International Film at the Charlotte Black film festival and Denton Black film Festival, Best foreign film at the Oakland international Film Festival. as well as being Nominated in 7 categories at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and 3 nominations at the UK BUFF Awards. Lara and the Beat is currently streaming on NETFLIX, BROWN SUGAR and KWELI TV.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Media arts and Animation from the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles and received an MFA in Motion Picture & Television from The Academy of Art University San Francisco.
